1. Identification
The RegulaBio platform is operated by ABS Legaltech Soluções Simplificadas LTDA, registered under Brazilian taxpayer number (CNPJ) 58,699,635/0001-09, hereinafter referred to simply as "RegulaBio".
By accessing or using RegulaBio's services — including the institutional website, the web platform and the AI diagnostic assistant — you (the "User") agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Service Description
RegulaBio offers a regulatory guidance platform focused on Brazilian Federal Law No. 13,123/2015 (the Brazilian Biodiversity Law) and the National System for the Management of Genetic Heritage and Associated Traditional Knowledge (SisGen). Services include:
- A free regulatory diagnostic conducted by an artificial intelligence assistant;
- A logged-in area with a personalized regulatory map, documents and content library;
- Specialized consulting (paid plans, to be launched at a future date).
3. Registration and Access
To access the platform's logged-in area, the User must create an account providing truthful, accurate and up-to-date information. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials.
RegulaBio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, use false information or adopt behavior harmful to the platform or other users.
4. Acceptable Use
The User agrees to use the platform only for lawful purposes and undertakes not to:
- Provide false or misleading information about their company or regulatory situation;
- Attempt to access restricted areas of the platform without authorization;
- Reproduce, distribute or commercialize platform content without prior authorization;
- Use the platform for illegal purposes or in violation of Brazilian law;
- Carry out reverse engineering, scraping or any action that harms the technical infrastructure.
5. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Decisions
The RegulaBio diagnostic assistant uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze the information provided by the User and generate a preliminary diagnostic of their regulatory situation.
The result is based on information provided by the User and on technical-legal criteria programmed by the RegulaBio team. The User may request human review of the diagnostic by contacting contato@regulabio.com.br.
6. Intellectual Property
All platform content — including texts, methodologies, educational materials, brand and software — is the exclusive property of RegulaBio or its licensors, protected by Brazilian intellectual property law.
The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license for personal use of the platform and may not reproduce or commercially exploit any content without prior written authorization.
7. Plans and Payments
The AI assistant diagnostic and basic platform access are free. Advanced features may be subject to paid plans, which will be presented clearly with regard to price, scope and cancellation conditions before contracting.
When available, paid plans will follow Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990), including the 7-day right of withdrawal for online contracts.
8. Limitation of Liability
RegulaBio is not liable for decisions taken by the User based exclusively on the diagnostic generated by the platform, nor for indirect damages, lost profits or losses arising from the use of the information provided.
The platform is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. RegulaBio will use its best efforts to keep the service available and updated, but may carry out maintenance or temporary suspensions.
9. Privacy
The processing of personal data by RegulaBio is described in our Privacy Policy, drafted in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD). By using our services, the User consents to the processing described in that document.
10. Changes to the Terms
RegulaBio may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or notice on the platform with at least 15 days' prior notice. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect implies agreement with the new terms.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. For dispute resolution, the courts of São Paulo — SP, Brazil, are elected, with waiver of any other, however privileged it may be.
